Hades Tribes 2 Movie

Clan Hades has released their long awaited Tribes 2 movie and its a hammer (also in size approx. 600 mb) and it shows very well how much fun Tribes 2 can be. So the download is worth of it.

sc.ch Swiss Tribes 2 Lan review

Last Weekend the "first" swiss Tribes 2 Lan took place in the old clanroom of the cyberknights. The Lan was full off suprises and even Oldschool Tribes gamers like Lobo@Nightwalker and Sveno made a visit. The Lan startet with a bit delay past 19.00 on friday evening and was finished at 17.00 on Sunday afternoon. Faessi from team-switzerland.ch made a visit on Saturday with a package full of Batterydrinks in the backpack (thx faessi we really needed them). The Lan was a success alltought some people that wanted to come couldn't get there. Most of the people would like to see another Tribes Lan and so do we =) so stay tuned. Pictures will follow as additions to Faessis one's

For all those who are interested in the Tribes2 Nationalteam-LAN or weren't able to come to this event, I have some nice pictures. I visited the LAN on Saturday and photographed the team and the location. Some players weren't there yet, but it was nevertheless some fun there. Have fun with the pics, I will add them as fast as possible to the LAN-Gallery, together with some other photographs the players there made. A LAN-Review will follow soon by Viper, I hope.

This weekend the swiss Tribes 2 Lan opens and the swiss T2 NT has its first RL meeting.

We have prepared 2 maps for you to find the location.
The first map shows the way from the Zurich MainStation to the Location(Hönggerstr. 119) and the second shows you where to deploy your stuff(im Sydefädeli) at the Delivery entrance.

The Location is an Retirementcenter(Altersheim) so don't ring at the door. =)

Official Beginning/Dooropening: Friday 19.00

Jeah its true the swiss NT of Tribes 2 [ + ] organises a Lanparty on the 13th to 15th of December. It all takes place in the legendary clanhalls of the cyberKnights in Zurich(Wipkingen)

Detail informations:

Where:
Altersheim Sydefädeli, Wipkingen (Zurich) aka cK HQ

Who:
The whole swiss national team, [ + ], or other swiss tribes 2 players who want to join [ + ].

How long:
A weekend, from friday about 19:00 until sunday about 16:00.

Food:
You have to bring your own food with you. There's a restaurant near the location, if you want to eat some serious food

Bring:
- PC and equipment
- Tribes 2 CD
- The whole Tribes 2 stuff you have
- If you need, your sleeping bag (there are 9 sleeping places)
- Food and drinks
- And all the stuff you take with you, when you go to a LAN-Party

Tribes2 v25034 Early Release

Thanks to the wonderful people at Sierra, TribalWar( Famous Tribes 1+2 Newssite) was able to obtain the newest patch before its wednesday release. It should be noted that this patch will not have technical support until it is released on Sierra's own auto-patcher. However, this is the final version of the patch and is the same one that will be released on wednesday. Get it early.

The patch includes fixes such as...

-Fixed AMD Win32 Dual CPU timing bug
-Added $pref::useHighPerformanceCounter to enable usage of the -QueryPerformanceCounter code
-Added gravity to demo recordings
-Fixed CPU control state in a couple more places for deterministic simulation
-Merged many script fixes

Both the full and incremental versions are available for download.

HERC Destroyer Mod for Tribes 2 released

Finally the long awaited Tribes 2 Mod Herc Destroyer is released. Now you can get into the cockpit of a HERC(Mech from Starsiege Universe) and walk around(and also fight) in Tribes 2 but the Dev ppl didnt only include the HERC also they included 12 new vehicles for Tribes 2.

It is only available on Sierra's ftp and mirrors right now and will appear on the autoupdater tomorow.
